A Little Leather Never Hurt

I thought a pretty flowy dress was appropiate attire for frolicking in nature while we visited Araluen Botanical Garden. The only problem was I've always been a bit of a tomboy at heart and never feel entirely comfortable wearing such "girly" clothing such as this cute as a button dress. Whenever I come across this bridge is to pair it with something leather - something a little more edgy and badass. So introducing my beloved leather jacket that I bought last year and have only taken it off when it makes me sweat bullet.

Not only is a leather jacket always a statement piece, it also adds some texture to your outfit making it a little interesting to the eye. And in my case, adds a sense of security where I feel better about wearing such a feminine dress and make me feel more badass!

  1. I completely agree with you; love styling something super feminine with an edgier piece like a leather jacket or some amazing chunky boots. Araluen looks stunning by the way. I really must get there sometime soon before the tulips are gone.

  4. Love these photos, I normally add my leather to ev-er-y-thing but adding it to a cute little dress is my fave, it makes me feel less girly and more badass!
